A co-founder of the Lawrence Children's Choir (Lawrence, Kansas), Marilyn was the
Choir's accompanist/assistant director for 11 years. She has taught and accompanied in
the Lincoln, Nebraska public schools and directed a private piano studio. At the college
level, she taught choral music and piano at Bethel College and performed as a staff
accompanist for the University of Nebraska. She also accompanied instrumental and
vocal students in the University ofKansas School ofMusic from 1988 to 2002. She and
her husband live in North Newton, Kansas, where he is a Bethel College administrator.
