A native of Kentucky and currently resides in Chicago Enjoys a career in composition, conducting, singing and teaching Award-winning compositions include several large works for chorus and orchestra as well as shorter works for all vocal ensembles, and solo songs Recent commissions have been heard in churches, synagogues, schools and concert halls throughout the world A lyric baritone, he has performed with major symphonies in the U.S.A., at the festivals of Tanglewood, Blossom, Ravinia, and Mostly Mozart. The premiere performances of many of his songs have been in his own solo recitals Grammy nomination in 1987 for Best Chamber Music recording Conductor of The Camerata Singers and Music Director at North Shore Unitarian Church, Deerfield, Illinois Director of North Park University Chamber Singers, Chicago Has held teaching positions at Northwestern University, DePaul University and currently teaches at Loyola University, Chicago Trained at the University of Kentucky, Wichita State University, Northwestern University, The Salzburg Mozarteum, and in London.
